Magnum is one of our favorite manufacturers and we build many systems with Magnum inverters. Along with those inverters we usually have the ME-RC or ARC remote control to make operation of the inverter seamless!
The Magnum Remote Controls are designed to be simple to use while offering multiple functions in one place. The large LCD screen and at-a-glance LEDs display the inverter / charger status in a straightforward way. Soft keys give simple access to menus and a rotary encoder knob makes it easy to quickly scroll through menus and select settings.
* The ME-RC Remote Control is simple to use, and is required to program the Magnum inverter. Both remotes allow you to track energy usage in and out of the inverter. The advanced remote allows for very sophisticated control over the generator and inverter system.
* The ME-ARC Advanced Remote Control offers the same simple push button operation of the ME-RC with advanced features and setup menus. The ME-ARC features a Favs button for storing up to five of your favorite setup menus, a Control button for fast easy control of the inverter, charger, and generator, meter button with AC and DC meters, advanced setup menus, and advanced tech menus.
* The ME-RTR (or “router”) has many of the same features as the ME-ARC50 advanced remote control, with the added functionality required to parallel Magnum MS-PAE or MS-PE inverter chargers. The router is designed to easily and quickly connect multiple inverter/chargers in parallel without the need to program each inverter. The router can accommodate up to: four MS-PAE or MS-PE inverter/ chargers in parallel, two AGS modules, six BMKs, and one remote control.
Inverter Energy Monitoring and Battery Voltage: Included with all versions
Battery Monitoring: I recommend using the ME-BMK battery monitoring kit to add battery amp hour tracking to the Magnum Remote Control.
Generator Control: All versions will control the ME-AGS automatic generator start using a network connection to the inverter. This remote has convenient finger-tip operation, including one-knob programming. The new ME-ARC advanced remote offers even more control of the setup.
The optional Auto Generator Start (AGS) module automatically starts and stops most major generator brands. The generator can automatically start based on low battery voltage or on the inside temperature, starting a generator to run an air conditioner when the temperature of an RV or cabin rises to a user-settable level.
A brighter future. Off the grid. Iron Edison battery systems can be used for 12, 24 and 48 volt applications. We can also help you optimize battery capacity to take better advantage of the solar, wind and other hardware you may already have in place.
